We went to the Utah State Fair today. It was nice, I didn't have to worry about kids for the most part. I missed it though. I planned on taking pictures I just didn't get a chance to we never really saw the kids. The nice part was spending some time with the other teachers on my team. I have felt kind of distant from them so it was good to tag along for a while. The other nice part on the way home I just sat and talked to some of my students. I loved it. I thought that was so much fun. I found out what they liked the best and they were so excited to tell me about their day. I love just talking to them everyday. I need to make sure I do it more often.
My favorite exhibit was the photography I was inspired. I think I take some good pictures, so we will see what I can do this year and maybe I'll enter something next year.
It is a love hate relationship with field trips. I love the break, but there is so much chaos before and after. The kids did very well over all today. I am glad we rewarded them and let them know how much we appreciate their co-operation.
Overall it was a good day. I am really happy it is Friday and I can rest, and the kids have a weekend to calm down from the fun.
