I survived. I was a little nervous at 12:00 today when I didn't have anything else to do and had to hurry and find an activity before lunch for later. It was a really fun activity and I think the kids had fun. Next week it is the real stuff. I'm excited to meet the other two classes and start teaching, not just giving out rules. I will take a picture next week of the class and post it for everyone. They really are a great group of kids. They talk a lot, but so far that has been the only problem. I will keep you updated. What is my favorite thing so far? Birthdays we had two in three days and it is just fun. I'm sure when I get teaching for real that wont be my favorite thing.
Okay here is a good story. I was doing a spelling pre-test. I look up and one of the boys has fallen off his chair. Right as the principal walked in. I looked at the boy and said, "That is what you get for not keeping your chair down." And he responded, "I stood up." I showed restraint and didn't laugh at him. But I thought how funny that Mr. Rounds would walk in right at that point.
