It has been an amazing and fun Spring Break. Just time to hang out with the family and my friends. I wish every weekend could be just as fun.
On Thursday I was at home all day and just enjoyed myself. Friday I went to Baby Animal Days in Logan with my sister, sister-in-law and all the kids (4 in this group.) It was a lot of fun to just be with them and enjoy the perfect weather that day.
On Saturday I went to my mom's to "help" put in the new kitchen floor. Apparently my way of helping is to watch my brother and brother-in-law put the floor in. I also got to watch the kids (3 of them) while everyone else looked for the floor. I think my best helping moment was when I hid the Easter eggs. That was a lot of fun. Honestly, I felt like the whole day was a waste of time. But, I know if I would have stayed home I would have been wasting my time here more than I did there. At least I got to talk to my family and see how everyone was doing.
After I got home I went to the institute Spring Show. It was amazing. I loved the message that was spread about "Coming Home" and returning to our eternal home. The singing was great and so were the dancers. And of course like always the acting was just a little cheesy. But, I noticed something. The Spring Show is a lot more spiritual than the Christmas show. . . don't get me wrong the Christmas show has its spiritual moments too. But, the Spring Show is special. I loved it!
On Sunday I went to church and came home and just enjoyed being home and by myself for about 6 hours. Just relaxed and did what I wanted to do.
Today, I read pretty much all day. I finished Northanger Abby and honestly, I am sad I didn't pick it up sooner. It was just what I needed to finish my weekend with.
That is pretty much the fun I had this week. I still am taking suggestions for my new blog name. I will take those until May 31st. Then I will give my blog the new name on June 1st.
