4-17-11

This week was good.  Transfers were Wednesday.  Sister B and I get a long pretty well.  It is really nice. 

The only big news from the week is that Matt is getting baptized on Saturday!  The Elders were teaching him, then when they were ET'd out we started to teach him.  He has been preparing to be baptized for a while and his mom has been kind of resistant, but now she is willing to let him get baptized and we are excited for it to happen.  I feel kind of guilty about him getting baptized now rather than when the Elders were around.  But, I guess it is the right time for him to be baptized. 

Dawn and Joey, have taken a step back, and we just have to flow with it.  They are still coming to church, and they are still trying to get to know people.  I guess the most important thing is they are still meeting with us. 

This week we get to do something different on Wednesday.  There is a class at the local community college about marriage and religion.  We get to go there and do a panel discussion about our church and the role marriage plays in it.  It will be us and one of the members of the branch.  I'm really excited to be able to go and do it. 

I think that is it.  I know it isn't a lot.  And actually I could have ended it about five minutes ago.  Things just aren't changing or different around here in the last few days.  Hopefully, I will have some new news to tell you next week.
